Uverse Rox.
17.9MB downloads – 2MB uploads.
DVR that records 4 channels at once, and is playable on any other unit.
Kick ass Guide, and super fast channel changing. (Comcast people you know what I’m talking about)
After several weeks of Uverse, I have to admit I was skeptical to begin with, and the 1st week was a little rocky with some intermittent issues. (Resolved in 3 days, with no further issues.)
I have to admit, I am really happy with uverse. Those of you who know me, know I am very finicky, very hard to please, and very quick to tell someone where they can take their product and shove it; so for this opinion to be positive, holds a lot of weight.
There are a lot of feature to talk about, more then I care to cover in this post, but know that their are no shortages of features for the money that you are paying, and in JAX, FL you get much more for your money in a direct comparison with Comcast.
So, there it is.. Please feel free to drop your comments/questions here, and I’ll be happy to reply!

Can you comment on HD video quality vs Comcast and/or DirecTV? I have to leave DirecTV in a new house because the dish won’t have line of sight, so I’m trying to decide between Uverse and Comcast. I’ve read in various places that the Uverse HD picture quality isn’t quite up to snuff. Any opinion?

My wife and I really love the quality, though I admit, I don’t have anything to compare it too, because we didn’t have HD through Comcast.
But from what we’ve seen thus far, the quality is great as of today. Now, perhaps when uverse came out initially their HD wasn’t quite up to snuff, but its all working good now..
