I have the 25th anniversary of the movie, so I wonder what this box set will look like. I may have to add this to my collection as well.
Never mind the Michael Bay-created monstrosities on the big screen: the real Transformers are making a comeback on June 16th. That’s the date when a new deluxe DVD set of the original cartoon is released.
The original Transformers will be getting the high-end boxset treatment from Shout! Factory, as part of a new deal with Hasbro that will also see the company release DVDs of the 1980s GI Joe (and, less science fictional, the My Little Pony animated movie). Shout!’s President Garson Foos explained why this is good news for more than just me:
We’ve wanted this for years… These are all iconic pop-culture brands. I think one of the things that attracted Hasbro to us was they knew we could move fast on these DVDs, but not sacrifice quality.
They’re also not sacrificing extras, if what you get as bonuses on the first Transformers set is anything to go by. Along with the first season of the show, you’ll also get commercials for the toys, scripts, concept art and – and this is what excites me, having never seen them – Transformers Public Safety Announcements from the period. Transform and roll out, Autobots – But don’t run anyone over.
Transformers: The Complete First Season 25th Anniversary Edition is released June 16th, a week before Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen hits theaters.
Something horrible has happened!

Today, my site was vandalized. My site was abused. My site was taken advantage of. I WAS HACKED!!!!
I have no idea what perpetrated this vile, unscrupulous act upon my family website OR for what end; A place that I post my personal thoughts, and family pictures, my baby videos!
This is my internet sanctuary. (Though its not much, its all mine!) My home and palace.
Some sanctifying turd decided to take it upon themselves to spend time to infiltrate a subsection of my website and inject a phishing portal.
I really cannot tell you the absolute rage I feel. My site was shutdown for most of the day (I’m assuming, I don’t really know, as I only check it once a day, and that’s usually when I get home from the office)
I noticed the outage at approximately 3PM EST, and immediately contacted my webhost to inquire why my site was suspended. (I honestly thought I forgot to pay the bill..)
They informed me (Actually accused me is a better word), of running a phishing scam. To this I was flabbergasted! (I think I actually exclaimed that… sidenote.)
I asked them the normal question barrage, where?, when?, how?, who?, what?, to which they acted surprised that I didn’t already know.. (NO I DIDN’T FLIPPING KNOW, DAH!! LOOK AT MY SITE, DOES IT LOOK LIKE THE STEREOTYPICAL HACKER, PHISHING, MALWARE, SCUMWARE HOMEPAGE???)
What, Does every hackers homepage begin with: Welcome to my home, of family pictures, and umm, phishing forms for you to fill out!! NO!! IT FREAKING DOESN’T, I’D VENTURE A SMALL GUESS..
So…… after 2 hours both in chat, and on the phone discussing how this happened with the fraud/abuse representative, being harshly reprimanded for being an absolute dunce, and removing all traces of said infection, changing passwords, removing databases, and resetting CPANEL.(Which ended with the loss of my beloved image gallery) (Don’t worry, I have backups of all our pictures, and intend to make it better then ever before!!) Yipppeee!
THEN, on top of that I received an email from some other POMPOUS-ASS SCUMBUCKET DIRTBAG, THAT HE TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF TO REPORT MY SMALL SITE TO Google as being a hacker paradise where the virgins come prior to death and credit cards are flowing from the heavens above.. (Well, LA-DEE-FREAKING-DO-DAH, I bet your just happier then a 10-peckered owl now aren’t ya, jackass.)
So now, I have an inquiry open with Google to reconsider my site off the 10 most wanted phishing sites in the ENTIRE WORLD! (NO, THANK YOU, Melborne IT, you F**&^ing DUCHEBAG MOFO, you ever hear of damn EMAIL.. My CONTACT INFO, Hey, what-do-ya know, It’s on my website, dickhead. (If I was phishing for credit cards, IT PROBABLY WOULDN’T BE, YOU DUMBASS!!)
A jingle would have been nice before you had me put on America’s Most Wanted, you prick, Ronald M!)
So as you can see, my day has been just ducky.. Just an absolute peach… Ohh By the way, got my call from Uncle Sam today, he told me my reserve position that I have been waiting for ANXIOUSLY FOR 2 months has been filled and nothing else is available!
