Cannot stop playing PS3!

The PS3 is more fun then I have ever had playing a computer gaming, and more comfortable too..

I received the God of War collection for Christmas, and spent most of the day, taking Kratus around destroying everything in my path! I love it! I still love racing in Need for Speed: Shift too, and if anyone is interested in a race, i’d be happy to oblige.

I will go out on a limb in saying, this was the best purchase of 2009!

Huzzah!

Thinking about a Droid.

So we’ve been informed that work may begin granting an allowance for personally owned phones. Not quite sure how this will exactly work, but its somewhat described as perhaps a set amount for the purchase and a set amount for monthly coverage. Coverages and allowances are still up in the air, but if its approved, I’m strongly considering the Motorola Droid.

Does anyone have one? They look pretty slick, and I know Verizon is NO JOKE when it comes to coverage and support. I would love to hear from anyone who might already have a Droid how your experience is..

PS3 in route for New Years delivery…

Well, I’m not so happy about the length of time its taking to get my 250GB PS3,(Destined to be delivered around the 4th of January.) but alas, we all make sacrifices for discounts.
I’ll still receive mine well before the release of MAG . This game looks epicly cool, and supports up to 250+ people online simultaneously.

Ohh, the bloody mayhem.. I can’t wait!

Uverse Rox.

17.9MB downloads – 2MB uploads.
DVR that records 4 channels at once, and is playable on any other unit.
Kick ass Guide, and super fast channel changing. (Comcast people you know what I’m talking about)

After several weeks of Uverse, I have to admit I was skeptical to begin with, and the 1st week was a little rocky with some intermittent issues. (Resolved in 3 days, with no further issues.)

I have to admit, I am really happy with uverse. Those of you who know me, know I am very finicky, very hard to please, and very quick to tell someone where they can take their product and shove it; so for this opinion to be positive, holds a lot of weight.

There are a lot of feature to talk about, more then I care to cover in this post, but know that their are no shortages of features for the money that you are paying, and in JAX, FL you get much more for your money in a direct comparison with Comcast.

So, there it is.. Please feel free to drop your comments/questions here, and I’ll be happy to reply!
Chris

Why does Asus suck so bad?

They are a large extremely integrated company that has many products out in the market, so how is it they have the worst fricken inventory control eveh, and terribad customer support to boot.!

I have a Asus Arctic Square Cooler, pretty straight forward.. They only make 1.. They make no other products name, “Arctic Square”, yet why is it they cannot find a part for this item. They cannot even cross-reference their own site, to Newegg or Amazon. (Both of which, don’t seemly know the model number of the product either.)

These guys are amazing in that they don’t even know what products they sell, or how to get parts for said products.
Where the hell has the customer support gone..

BTW – Does anyone know where I can buy a backplate for a Asus Arctic Square??

I have a $50 CPU cooler, and need a $2.00 part, yet that seems impossible.

Minimum Payment Law

Is anyone else as scared of this as I am? I cannot image the Credit Card companies are too happy with this either.

Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News, World News, and News about the Economy

  • 78 percent of American households — about 91.1 million — had one or more credit cards at the end of 2008. A year earlier, there were 90.4 million households with cards. (Source: Nilson Report, April 2009)
  • The average outstanding credit card debt for households that have a credit card was $10,679 at the end of 2008. One year earlier, that average was $10,637. (Source: Nilson Report, April 2009)
  • 5% of $10,000 is $500.00.

Can you image just 5% of all Americans with a $10,000.00 balance or more all filing Bankruptcy?

Blu-Ray or PS3?

Here I sit, having ordered and canceled purchases numerous times on (alternating back and forth LG BD390 or pre-ordering the PS3 250GB ).

I didn’t think this would be that hard, but it seems every time I feel confident in my decision, I think of at least 3 reasons to choose the other.

The only thing I have finally made up my mind on is pre-ordering Star Trek in Blu-Ray..

Now, how to watch it….
